REMOVING PUSH ROD FROM OLD BOOSTER:
1. Hold push rod in vise using caution to not damage threads on rod if applicable. Support weight of booster at all times during this operation.

2. Using a soft faced hammer, strike rear shell near base of hub with a forceful blow while pulling unit away from vise. Use caution not to damage hub.

INSTALLING PUSH ROD IN REPLACEMENT UNIT:
1. Insert new plastic lock (furnished) into groove of push rod and push into hub.

2. Push and move rod side to side until lock catches in place. Do not use hammer to force rod down.
